Florence Cardinal was born on the Alberta Prairies in 1935, and has spent her life there. Her articles, fiction and poetry have been published by Western Producer, Good Old Days, Grit, Country Woman and Fate magazine, as well as several little magazines, including the Canadian Writer's Journal. She is also very active online and wrote weekly articles on sleep disorders for the web site About.com from March 1999 until September, 2006.
She knows Canada and has had an interest in Canadian history since she was a child. Many of her articles have been about historical or nostalgic topics.
